Author comments: “I came to make reliefs during an internship at the Academy of Applied Arts in the atelier of the sculptor Kurt Gebauer. I work mostly in plaster, which I like mainly for its fragility and vulnerability, because life is such. I like to watch and observe objects that are in my immediate surroundings and sometimes I regret how little we pay attention to ordinary things. They live their quiet lives and often remain unnoticed while beating in themis so much life and they are so beautiful. And it really no matter if it’s just an apple on the table, a mug or car keys… I usually leave the results in white, like an essence that emerges from white walls.”
